This article shows that the government has a lot of power. And this can relate of the “lord of the flies” because jack made a lot of decisions that the other boys, didn’t like. Just like Stephen Harper made a decision about the abortion information. Stephen Harper did not think about the consequences that it can lead to, and also jack did the same thing he didn’t think about the consequences.

In this article relates of the LOTF. It reminds me of Simon when he got stabbed in the stomach by this own friends. In the article the stabbing occurred at about 7:30 pm in the evening, also that reminds me of Simon because when he got stabbed it was dark maybe it was in the evening.

This article reminds me of Ralph and Jack. Later on in the novel jack wins the boys on to this side. And Ralph had only piggy on his side. Jack tried a lot to get what he wanted. He was bullying the boys. And the boys wanted to be safe so they went to jacks side.

http://www.thestar.com/sports/football/article/804830--is-ben-roethlisberger-the-most-hated-athlete-in-the-world

This article shows that Roethlisberger is the most hated athlete in the world. This reminded me of jack because he is the most hated person the island. Also he wanted everything the way he wanted. Not listen to anyone else, and he was kind of jealous of Ralph because everyone liked Ralph better then Jack.

http://www.thestar.com/business/smallbusiness/article/805370--making-schools-cool

I think this article is a good example of leadership. Gena Robertson took the time to help the children from a long time. She is the president of school’s cool. She thinks that her products will reach the children who need it, no matter where they live. All she wants is that children, who are struggling in school, shouldn’t be struggling because they will have troubles catching up to their peers.
